UFCW Locals in Southern California have reached a tentative agreement with Foods Co. and Foods 4 Less. For months, we have been fighting for a fair contract and have shown what can happen when workers stand together for a better life.
After months of intense bargaining, we have secured a tentative agreement, delivering our members the wages, hours, and protections they deserve. A tentative agreement is not final until members have an opportunity to review and vote on it.
This agreement was only possible with the strength shown during the bargaining process. We stood up to the company’s unfair labor practices and were willing to fight for the contract our members deserve.
Our solidarity and victory here sends a message to workers everywhere – when we stand together, we win.
Details of the agreement will be released to members working at Foods Co. during ratification meetings. Please make every effort to attend the ratification meeting. Your Union recommends a YES vote.
Members will have an opportunity to review and ask questions before voting during these meetings. Members will be notified of the meeting locations, dates, and times in the coming days.
