UFCW members in Southern California have overwhelmingly voted to ratify the new three-year agreement with Foods Co. and Food 4 Less. We thank our members for taking the time to vote and making sure their voice is heard.
The solidarity from the members of all Southern California UFCW Locals and our commitment to standing together ensured members got the contract they deserve. The new contract includes:
- Significant wage increases for all workers
- More hours guaranteed for all part-time workers
- Significant reduction in the hours it takes to reach top rate pay
- Additional premiums for POS Coordinators, General/Non-Foods Head Clerks, and Meat/Service Clerks
- Ratification bonuses for all workers
- Increased starting wage rate
This victory is a direct result of our power and unity at the bargaining table and in our stores.
