A grocery chain has closed three locations in one day, leading to growing concerns from customers.
Three Lucky Supermarkets in California shuttered on Friday in a move that left shoppers stunned.
Save Mart Companies, which owns Lucky Supermarkets, made the decision to shut down its Dublin, Fremont, and Millbrae locations on November 3.
The company said that the stores closed due to “underperformance.”
“Lucky remains committed to serving each of these communities with our other Lucky stores located nearby,” a grocery chain spokesperson wrote in a statement to local TV news outlet KRON.
