Following pandemic-driven sales spikes a year ago, global food retailer Ahold Delhaize upheld strong U.S. e-commerce growth and eked out a comparable-sales gain in the fiscal 2021 first quarter.
For the quarter ended April 4, net sales at Ahold Delhaize USA rose 3.6% to $12.93 billion from $12.48 billion a year earlier, Zaandam, Netherlands-based Ahold Delhaize reported on Wednesday.
